Join Us for the Pistahan Parade at 11am Today!

The parade will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11 AM from the SF Civic Center, along Market Street towards 4th Street to Yerba Buena Gardens. The Pistahan Parade brings the sound, art and culture of the Filipino American spirit! With a mix of marching bands and cultural dance groups, the Parade helps personify the diversity that is San Francisco!

Parade starts at Fulton Street / Right on Hyde / Left on Market / Right on 4th St / End on 4th and Howard. We hope you'll join us all along the parade route on Market St.

Parade Grand Marshals include San Francisco Mayor London Breed and Philippine Consul General Henry Bensurto.

Tita Florence, Ninong Johnny and their house DJ are at it again this year! Make sure you visit the Dance Pavilion at Pistahan above the Yerba Buena Gardens waterfalls and take part in their workshops and programming!

Joining Pistahan once again is KIDZ GROOVE, a dance production & workshop for kids. The founder and director, Princess Ryan, is a celebrity dancer in the Philippines who is now based in the Bay Area.

Her mission is to pass on what she has learned and experienced in the entertainment industry to kids through her dance workshops and having them perform with her - in front of a live audience to boost their confidence and self esteem!
