The Pistahan Parade begins at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from SF Civic Center. The route ends at the festival at Yerba Buena Gardens on Fourth and Mission Streets.
NOTE: Please plan accordingly knowing that the assembly area is not at the festival grounds. Once the parade participants have left the assembly area, Fulton Street and Grove Street return to normal street operations.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO THE PARADE ASSEMBLY AREA
The nearest Muni and BART station is the Van Ness/Civic Center station. The opening ceremonies stage and parade assembly area is on the corner of Larkin and Fulton Streets between the SF Public Library and the Asian Art Museum. Get directions.
best viewing area TO WATCH THE PARADE
There are are viewing areas along the route for prime float-watching, dancing and cheering spots are along Market Street. The main viewing area will be in front of the Powell Street Cable Car Turnaround and the Westfield Centre. View a street-view map of the area.

Pistahan encourages everyone to use public transportation where possible. But if you have to drive, you can get directions from Google Maps.
TO THE PARADE
From the Peninsula
Take U.S. 101 north towards San Francisco. Take the U.S. 101 North/Duboce Ave./Mission Street exit. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Turn Right onto Mission Street. Turn slight left onto Van Ness Ave. Turn right onto McAllister.
From the East Bay
Take Interstate 580. Exit onto Interstate 80 West towards San Francisco, After crossing the Bay Bridge, take at the 9th Street/Civic Center exit. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto Harrison Street, then turn right onto 9th Street. Turn slight left onto Hayes Street, then turn right onto Van Ness Ave. Turn right onto McAllister.
From the North Bay
Take U.S. 101 south towards San Francisco. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge, and merge onto U.S. 101 South (Lombard Street). Turn right at the intersection of Lombard and Van Ness, onto Van Ness Ave. Turn left onto McAllister.
