An afternoon of information-sharing, brainstorming and networking with groups and organizations participating in the super-fantastic and LARGEST PARADE of Filipinos/Filipino Americans in the U.S. 

Who

All organizations, community and affinity groups, businesses and individuals are welcome.

  • Find out about the Parade Team's exciting plans (hint: barrel men + Manila traffic + Pacquiao, 'nuff said)
  • Discover ideas about float design, choreography, costume and parade music 
  • Learn about resources and referrals to help with building your contingent
  • Share your tips for having an awesome time at the parade
  • Collaborate or join with other groups 
  • Master the art of creating mango blossoms and other parade props
  • Get your parade questions answered

Dear Community, I am writing to inform you of an important update regarding the 19th Annual Filipino American History Month Celebration, originally scheduled at San Francisco City Hall's Rotunda on Thursday, October 5. We find it necessary to postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances. The decision to reschedule is out of respect for the memorial services and the celebration of life that will take place at City Hall on Thursday, October 5 for U.S. Senator and former San Francisco Mayor Dianne Feinstein. We recognize Senator Feinstein's significant impacts on shaping the history of our beloved city and her unwavering support for the Filipino community. In joining the nation to honor her legacy, it is appropriate to adjust our plans to allow for the proper remembrance and tribute. The new date for the 19th Annual Filipino American History Month Celebration is now set for Thursday, October 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We hope you will be able to join us on this rescheduled date as we come together to celebrate our shared heritage and the contributions of the Filipino community to the rich tapestry of San Francisco. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during these challenging times. Please mark your calendar with the new date, and we look forward to your continued support as we honor Senator Dianne Feinstein and celebrate the vibrant history of Filipino Americans.
