Aeta Tribe Foundation

Aeta Tribe Foundation was founded in April of 2015 to provide safe drinking water to the indigenous Aeta tribe and improve agricultural productions to feed an entire village, one community at a time. They are a small 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that raises funds to benefit the Aeta people to repair the devastation caused by the volcanic eruption of Mount Pinatubo in June of 1991. The hope is to assist families, particularly children, who are living in extreme poverty, without clean water and sufficient food. Aeta Tribe foundation’s mission is to listen to the Aeta people and explore, restore, and evaluate water management strategies that are more robust for human development while sustaining the ability of the natural systems in the forest to provide the resources upon which the Aeta people depend that will allow them to create a new economy without undermining the integrity and stability of the natural systems. All the officers and board members of the foundation are non-paid volunteers who are committed to finding solutions that are scalable to have the greatest impact, a lasting impact for the Aeta tribes with the goal of ending their struggle and poverty early in their lives. Thank you.
