All for One, Fun for All! 32nd Annual Pistahan Parade and Festival Returns to San Francisco Aug. 9–10

The Filipino American Arts Exposition today announced the 32nd annual Pistahan Parade and Festival, the largest celebration of Filipino culture in the United States. The free, family-friendly event will take place Saturday, Aug. 9, and Sunday, Aug. 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Yerba Buena Gardens and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Come join us on Aug 10-11 in San Francisco for the 31st annual Pistahan Parade and Festival — the largest celebration of Filipino community, culture and cuisine in the US! www.pistahan.net 

The Grand Parade along Market Street on August 10 at 11am, with dazzling floats, cultural performers, musical groups and community contingents will kick-off the weekend celebration.

The Pistahan Festival, a FREE 2-day outdoor event at the Yerba Buena Gardens and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) will feature Philippine folk dancers, world-class entertainment, food trucks, artisan merchandise, and hands-on, authentic cultural experiences in six themed pavilions: Art, Culinary, Dance, Health, Innovation, and Sports. 

The Pistahan supports local artisans, food vendors, entrepreneurs, and more; and provides opportunities for guests to discover Philippine history, heritage, and traditions.

Hello! Pistahan is back!

The Filipino American Arts Exposition (FAAE) is excited to announce its 29th annual Pistahan Parade and Festival with in-person festivities on Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 from 11 am – 5 pm PT at the Yerba Buena Gardens, and via livestream on Facebook and YouTube. As we emerge from the pandemic, this year’s festival theme is “Homecoming: Reconnect with Our Roots and Community.”
