There's more to Yerba Buena Gardens than the Esplanade

Pistahan festival map at Yerba Buena Gardens

FUN FACT: There’s more to #PistahanSF than the esplanade in front of the main stage—we’ve got TERRACE (2nd level, above the waterfalls); JESSIE SQUARE (across Mission St., next to St. Patrick’s Church), and the intimate BAYANIHAN STAGE (near the 3rd St. entrance). Check out the map and the fun stuff at www.pistahan.net.

Be sure to visit the TERRACE level for the Dance Pavilion, the Wine Tasting Pavilion (yes! wine!) and the Culinary Pavilion, home to the very popular food contests—Adobo Cookoff, Balut-eating Contest, Magnolia Purple Freeze, and Heavenly Ice Cream Bee.

Head over to JESSIE SQUARE for the boxing championship, Filipino martial arts tournament, R/C drifting, DJ Skratch Fight and BBoy Jam at the Martial Arts Pavilion. You can also learn some new moves from the martial arts demonstrations. Sige!

Take your merienda over to the BAYANIHAN STAGE where you can catch the rising stars of Filipino/Filipino American music and dance.

What are the first 3 things you do when you arrive at #PistahanSF? Eat? Shop? Scope out the hot Pinoys and Pinays? Share in the comments!
